I am humbled and honored to have been appointed by the Executive Board to fulfill the role of National Director for Cross Impact Ministries. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in this position and look forward to working with the many local churches, campuses, and most importantly, the many students/singles with whom I will have the opportunity to connect.
The Lord has developed a passion for the discipleship of the student/young professional single in both myself and my family. It has been a blessing to serve as the Director of Operations for Cross Impact since 2011. I have greatly enjoyed and value the many relationships God has allowed me to have over this time, and I look forward to many more now as the National Director.
Cross Impact Ministries exists for the purpose of glorifying God by equipping and supporting local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission by discipling college/career singles world-wide with the Gospel of Christ. I thank God for the strong foundation of Cross Impact and am excited for how He will continue to lead this ministry as we seek to revitalize local church college/singles’ ministries and reach-out to the local campuses with the living Gospel of our Lord and Savior.
I want to thank the many people who have invested in my life to make it possible for me to be writing as CIM’s new National Director. I especially want to thank Dr. Steve Pettit, former CIM National Director, who did not hesitate in hiring me as the first CIM Director of Operations. The weekly investment of his life in mine these last 4 years is something that I am thankful for and indebted to him. Cross Impact was at the heart of our lives and many discussions during that time.
Additionally, I want to thank Dr. William J. Senn III, CIM Board President, who also has invested much time into my life. The daily interaction we had and will have is a blessing. His founding burden for Cross Impact has been contagious for my family and me, and we are excited to serve alongside Pastor Senn once again. I expect the future direction for CIM will stem from the discussions and discipleship I experienced these years with Brother Steve and Pastor Senn.
Finally, I repeat my gratefulness to the Lord’s leading and am excited to serve Him in this new position. As Christ states in Matthew 9:37, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” With over 53 million 18-29 year olds in the United States and over 20 million being collegians, the need is great. Pray the Lord continues to use Cross Impact to disciple and reach these young people for His purpose. Thank you for your prayers and continued support of Cross Impact Ministries.
