Cross Impact began in 1986 on the campus of Clemson University by University Baptist Church. At the time, we were named "Spurgeon Foundation Campus Ministries" in honor of the godly preacher Charles Haddon Spurgeon . Over the years we've learned a lot about campus ministries, and our prayer is to begin opening Cross Impact chapters at other schools in South Carolina: Winthrop University in Rock Hill, Charleston area colleges, and USC Colombia.
